The Question Leaders Are Afraid to Ask

For 17 years I worked/served the local Church. Before that I worked for the city of Southfield as a carpenters apprentice, I worked as a roofer, a sou chef and…

Through the Valley, Over the Hurdles and Up the Hills

I was telling a close friend last week that I think 2012 has been the hardest…toughest year of my short 36 years (almost 37) on planet earth. I know that’s…

My next steps…

Pretty often I get asked “so, what’s happening with Jason”? So, I thought I would pull my thoughts together and answer that question in a blog post. 2012 has been…

Losing a close friend pt. 1

*Just a warning up front that this post is a bit raw and transparent. It chronicles my journey of losing a close friend (not to death, but our relationship) and…

Don’t forget to hug and say good-bye!

One of my relationship 101’s is this… My goal is to try (doesn’t always happen) to hug people and say good-bye when they leave or I leave. I know, pretty…

Yesterday was a FUN day

Yesterday was the culmination of 10 years of dreaming and praying. Yesterday was a day free of stress and anxiety. Yesterday was a day of HUGE blessings. Yesterday I was…

#Choose Kindness because Kindness Lifts. #assemblies #kindness #kindnesslifts My traveling partner! I really tried to get him to take a nice and serious picture! But, we had a blast exploring downtown Chicago a bit!
This young man. I juts don’t have the words. He’s been a constant encouragement to me his entire life. How he loves his dad is an absolute delight. I love him so incredibly much! I love laughing with him. I love partnering with him!

I can wait to see what plans God has for him!

#chicago #travel #traveling #travelpartner #ilovebeinghisdad Wow! So excited to be at Grumlaw Church this morning! Honored to finish up there ‘Brand: New’ series! I’d be honored if you pray for Grumlaw!

#grumlawchurch #guestspeaker A little Friday morning prayer walk.

I don’t know what the future holds for Thrive Church MI and a 24/7 space. But, I continue to pray and ask God to open the doors to a miracle and ONLY GOD location!

I believe when Thrive gets a home, we can divert the energy that goes into being a portable church, to being even more FOR the community! We have such crazy dreams and I can’t wait!! #prayerwalk #praying #dreaming #forthecommunity #thrivechurchmi We did it! All 7 of us made it through a movie! Kai has a few rough spots. In the van or at home when he gets scared, he yells ‘push the button’, but he figured out pretty quick no one could push the button on the big screen! But, we even got a family selfie!! So much fun!
