Thrive Church…3 Musts for Sunday

I can’t even believe that Thanksgiving is over! How did that happen? I hope you had an absolutely fantastic Thanksgiving with your families and you feel rested and ready for the month ahead!

It’s amazing to me that on Sunday, we start a new series at Thrive and its the start of the month of December!

That being said, if you’re a part of Thrive Church, here are

3 Musts for you to know

1. Spend time with Jesus. I cannot emphasize it enough. It is…

DIRE! IMPORTANT! URGENT! NECESSARY! LIFE-GIVING!

In Matthew 6:6, Jesus gives us some direction on spending time with him…

“Here’s what I want you to do: Find a quiet, secluded place so you won’t be tempted to role-play before God. Just be there as simply and honestly as you can manage. The focus will shift from you to God, and you will begin to sense his grace”.

Before Sunday, find some time to be alone with Jesus. Just you and Jesus. Just you and taking to Jesus. Just you and listening to Jesus.

Just spend time with Jesus.

2. Get ready for a new series!!!!

We start a new series at Thrive called ‘Balanced for the Holidays’. If you’ve ever felt out of balance? Feel one move away from losing it? Ever wonder how you can keep it all together? This Sunday we’ll talk about how Balance comes from having a good foundation and we’ll talk about some disciplines that can keep us balanced.

This is a great series to invite friends and family too!

3. Ugly Christmas Sweater Sunday is coming to Thrive! TCP

Oh yeah! Get ready!

It’s Sunday, December 8th.

We even have our friends at Inasnap photo booths coming and every Thriver will go home with a GREAT photo of their family and friends in the their amazing sweaters!

I can’t wait to see you on Sunday!
