Dealing with Disappointment

It’s been an extremely exciting few weeks for Live Now! I posted more about it here

But, in the midst of this dream I have to use my gift of speaking to help people; this week has brought on new a level of disappointment and struggle as we figure out how to grow Live Now to support us financially. We’re just not there yet. And, obviously that brings an enormous amount of stress and anxiety, especially when you’re the provider for a family of 6.

Even though it’s tough right now. Gosh it’s tough. I know, that I know, that God has an amazing plan for this dream He’s given me and I know that lives are going to be changed.

I’ve been re-reading Mark Batterson’s book, The Circle Maker and this morning I read this and it rang true in my heart!

“We should praise God for disappointment because it drives us to our knees. Disappointment is like dream defibrillation. If we respond to it the right way, disappointment can actually restore our prayer rhythm and resurrect our dreams”.

God is so faithful.

  1. Have you ever considered about adding a little bit more than just your articles?
I mean, what you say is valuable and all. However think of if
you added some great images or video clips to give your
posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with images and
clips, this blog could definitely be one of the best in its
    niche. Good blog!
